My Journey
Although I spent most of my career in the IT field, my interests shifted more to fitness and longevity in my late 40's. I began working out daily thinking exercise would help me build muscle and lose weight. I was able to build muscle, but was still holding more weight than I needed. It took some time, but I did a lot of reading and learned how much nutrition contributes to maintaining a healthy weight.

Eventually this led to getting certified as a personal trainer through ACE Fitness in 2017. I followed that up with a Health Coach certification in 2018. I have maintained my certifications, knowing I wanted to help others in their health journey. I worked part time at a Gold's gym until COVID reduced the need for as many trainers.

Now that I'm in my retirement years, my mission is to help others in our community live the active life they've worked for. If I work with you, I'll begin with one simple observation: fitness for seniors shouldn't be about intensity, but about empowerment. I've been studying to develop a training philosophy that prioritizes mobility, core strength, and sustainable health. Through personalized weight training and cardio conditioning, I can help you reclaim your vitality and live an active, fulfilling life after fifty and beyond. Every session is a step toward a stronger, more independent future.
